Of course what this means for the middle east is fighting, shootings and bombings, so no change there.

He certainly was a horrible man, but I'm never in favor of the death penalty. Especially if Rummy, Bush I, and the other Reaganites aren't going with him.
I heard the news right as I was drifting off to sleep. Can't say as it helped with the dreaming.

#2, I was just thinking about how this figures into my anti death penalty stance. I haven't come to terms with that dilemma yet.

There's something that doesn't sit right with me about all this. No doubt the guy had it coming 72 times over BUT it does look like the US was the ring master of this circus. Not good for an already damaged PR. Anyway, It's all a mess there now and way too much death and distruction for my liking.
