The beaches of Normandy, at this moment in time the Yanks all looked left as I leapt from the landing craft and proceeded to kill the Japs at an astounding rate. I'm not saying it was all doon to me that the D-Day invasion was successful it was good to have the others coming up behind to shoot the ones I left wounded, team work.

What would you know where you there? well I didn't see you, maybe I killed them all before you turned up.
Robert Capa went with one of the early waves. He shot pictures in the middle of it and his films were later that day sent to London for processing. The assistant developed the films and put them on a radiator for faster drying.
That's why we have just a few pictures of the actual landing.
Good story ah well we'll always have 'Saving Private Ryan.'
Not to mention my ol'dad who crept in behind the jap lines, half inched their trucks and sold them on to the Russians at an enormous profit. Who do you think owns CarCraft http://www.carcraft.co.uk/
