Happy Hump Day GCHQ

Not enough has been said about Boris Johnson's promotion to Secretary of state and foreign affairs. Yeah yeah yeah he said funny and insulting things about people and lied about Brexit but this fool now has oversight for MI-6 and The Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) the people that would be in charge of sending James Bond on kill missions for fucks sake.

In 2013 Edward Snowden released proof that the NSA and GCHQ had been spying on millions of people worldwide from their phone and internet use as well as tapping the phones of foreign politicians.

When brought to court for these offenses in 2015, the British government reworked some of the laws in The Computer Misuse Act a day before the case was due to go to court and GCHQ and law enforcement was magically exempt from any wrong doings.

Did you even know this? Did it even register with you? Why should you care?

Banksy cared.

Maybe you were too wrapped up with the royal birth, shitting on Labour during the General election, Irish same sex marriage or Cuba being taken off the terrorist list to worry about this. Hey if you've got nothing to hide huh.

"Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say."  ~ Edward Snowden

Did he say bum or bomb? ... you've got a lovely bomb I'd like to bite it?

Russia has said that Brexit has weakened Europe and it's true. It has created a lot of uncertainty and the economy is still in the shitter unless you read the Daily Express which said it's booming ... then again if you read the Daily Express yer a moron anyways so there is no telling you any different. The Daily Mail is fucken high brow compared to that rag.

'Muslim, Ebola spider polar vortex about to destroy the country and you'll be paying for it'

Snowden didn't reveal anything that put undercover assets in danger. He pointed out the hacking and data collection against universities, hospitals, businesses and private citizens. He pointed out that any child growing up today will have no concept of privacy at all. All their thoughts and moments will be recorded and stored.

US immigration control can ask for social media accounts to see what you've been up to and employers even look up people that apply for jobs. Mistakes are no longer done in private.

The government will have all of our passwords, e-mails, phone numbers, credit card details but it's ok because we can trust the government.

I'm sure we can trust Johnson too. I mean he did get fired for lying when he was a journalist and he did lie during the Brexit campaign but just because someone keeps lying it doesn't mean that you can't trust them .... er um yeah cos look, he's bumbling and eccentric, ach bless.

Who cares about privacy and being free when you have celebs and constant bullshit to keep us occupied? Another famous person that I might have sorta liked 30 years ago died? .... fuck you 2016!

As long as you don't find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time or when some faceless agency needs a cover story or a scape goat then you'll be fine.

A post with Snowden, Cuba, Russia, Muslim, bomb, NSA, MI-6 and terrorist mentioned, I'm sure it'll get some attention. I hope the people at GCHQ and the NSA have a happy hump day.

*After writing this post Old Knudsen had a heart attack, slipped in the bath and shot himself 3 times in the back of his head with an unregistered firearm . Police are ruling death by misadventure and that he was probably cleaning it at the time. They do not think anything suspicious happened. His elderly neighbour  whose house faces his was found hanged in her home by sheer coincidence. This post is dedicated to them. *
